Barrier food trays have exploded onto the market, the combination of the clean fresh look and the shelf life performance are driving the change from the traditional overwrap tray. Masrac Plastics has taken the knowledge and success from the overwrap trays to design and built a new alternative range of barrier food trays. In conjunction with suitable lidding film and atmosphere conditions Barrier Trays can extend the shelflife of your product. Masrac Plastics MAP trays are made by laminating a suitable multi layer barrier film to the High Impact Polystyrene sheet, the sheet is then pressure formed into the desired tray size and style.

Traditional sizes are available ranging from 8x7 through to 11x9 and will fit straight into existing sealing equipment. Each of the trays features a similar rib pattern providing the trays with strength where you need it. This rib pattern also provides a consistent level of presentation across the various sizes and depths. If you require a coloured tray to compliment your product presentation we can help you with that as well.

Our Barrier trays are made from recyclable material and are identified with recycling codes to encourage consumers to participate in recycling practices.
